 Step 1:

Use this link https://www.android.com/filetransfer

It supports macOS 10.7 and higher

Step 2:

Click on "Download Now" to download the app

Step 3:

Go to "Finder" in your Mac, 

and then to "Downloads" to find  "AndroidFileTransfer.dmg".

Step 4:

Click "AndroidFileTransfer.dmg"

Step 5:

Click on the "Android File Transfer " image

Step 6:

Now click  "open"

Step 7:

Click on "Get Started"

Step 8:

Now click on " Android File Transfer"

Step 9:

Click on " Open"

Step 10:

Connect USB between Android and Mac. 

Change the USB settings in your android device to "File Transfer"

Choose the files to move from Mac to Android or Android to Mac.

Step 11:

This window pops up as you cannot view your files, until you move them to your computer first. Press "OK" and you can drag and drop your files/folders from Android to Mac.
